An Event to Remember on ( June 8 2013 to July 28 2013 ) -Paris Jazz Festival


As a city Paris offers Many attractions to its visitor’s right from its beautiful historical monuments to delectable food to the latest fashion trends and myriad cultural events.  Visiting all these attractions can burn a Hole in your pocket especially if you are travelling on a budget.  But then this is a Paris- a city that has Everything for everyone. The city wants you to enjoy yourself on your vacation; Discover the city and its culture irrespective of how big or small your budget is .Therefore it tends to organize various free events from time to time whereby One can enjoy and discover Paris without feeling a pinch in the pocket.




The Event – Paris Jazz Festival

One such event is the Paris Jazz festival. Hel d every year in the beautiful Parc Floral of the Bois de Vincennes located in the 12th arrondisement, the jazz festival will present live concerts by some of the city’s well known jazz musicians. The good thing about the festival is that it’s Entirely free. You don’t need to buy any tickets for the concerts apart from paying For the entry fee to the park which as such is very less.

The Concerts Timings

The concerts usually start around 3pm and are held only On the weekends ensuring that you have enough time to plan out the rest of the Day and week as per your convenience.

The Festival Venue

The best thing about the festival besides it being free is its venue. The Bois de Vincennes is one of Paris most beautiful parks with its various gardens, parks and lakes. You can easily spend an idyllic summer Afternoon picnicking with loved ones while listening to some wonderful music.
